Sam's journey to Sanctuary started in 2007. The Sanctuary community was instrumental in embracing and encouraging him during a very difficult time in his life.

Sam quickly became a regular at the Sunday worship gathering, community meals, as well as hosting a regular Bible study.  After many years at Sanctuary, Sam joined the staff team in 2016. His main role is to facilitate and care for the Sunday worship community.

Previously, he has worked in I.T. as a consultant as well as a Network Administrator, but his main passion is music. He studied music at Humber College, and Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale University), and is an active musician, playing regularly, and hosting open mics, including a monthly one at Sanctuary.
