Simon Beairsto is a member of our outreach team. Simon came to us from a job about making camp and camp work accessible, and it shows in his passions around Sanctuary. He is someone who makes Sanctuary welcoming and inclusive for people who don’t often find welcome elsewhere. Simon's call is to forge deep and meaningful friendships with all, but particularly folks that others might see as complicated or challenging. He's also a facilitator of many an outdoor experience with our outreach team. Simon has been deeply connected with both Anglican and Mennonite communities, but finds his church home is really at Sanctuary — and not just on Sundays. Simon is married to Honey and lives in community with her, another Simon, and their shared dog, Gordon.
